We are not interested in the Democrat vs. Republican Game, the Athlete/Celebrity Distraction Fantasy, engineers who think that their arbitrary areas of temporary expertise make them superior to other people, or working 50 hours-a-week in cubicles to purchase $600 cell phones. We've turned down jobs at Microsoft, contributed to best-selling programming books, and been cussed out by the CEOs of major corporations for telling them that their software projects would fail. Relatively speaking, our hearts and minds are free.
